In the Caribbean this machine almost runs the boat. We run the electric freezer 24/7 and use the auto-pilot, the chart plotter, the SSB and the watermaker. And we are quite comfortable on a couple of hours of engine time a day. At anchor, with just the freezer we can sometimes get away with no engine time at all. |
