I hung out here for a while whilst Loretta and Mary-Ann went off to South Africa for Robbie Wilter's funeral. Robbie was her Uncle. I knew him well and we worked together for years in Johannesburg until the 80's when I sailed to the States. I had to stay behind and look after the boat. That's one of the things about boats: you can't just lock them up and leave them unless you know the island well. We were on St Thomas nd I really had no local knowledge. We went there because of the US immigration office. It's a great anchorage. Apart from the fact that I missed the girls and was sad not to be able to attend Robbie's funeral, it was a great spot to be.
