Trellis Bay, Tortola.

This is where I learned to windsurf. It's the perfect spot and lies in the shelter of Beef Island. The fuel dock is relatively new and I would consider it a tasteful development in the light of what's happened in other parts of the island. (Cane Garden Bay, for example). Trellis Bay's a little crowded and they've packed it with mooring buoys that are a little too close together. When we picked up a mooring and stayed the night we banged into our neoghbour because the wind dopped for an hour or so and we drifted into each other. Another 6 feet would've made it a bit safer.

But that's progress. Right?
